Delivered Lectures in Morocco Under Erasmus+
SUM Research Group Manager Gürkan Çelik conducted an academic visit to Université Moulay Ismail in Meknes, Morocco, under the European Union Erasmus+ KA171 mobility program.
During the visit, we delivered comprehensive lectures and held academic discussions focusing on smart transportation, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and data-driven, user-centric mobility solutions. In these interactive sessions, we shared the current mobility analytics methodologies developed in collaboration with our expert researchers with the international academic community. In particular, our team's core research focus attracted significant attention regarding its adaptability and application across different urban contexts.
We addressed the critical shift from traditional transportation planning to data-backed strategies and laid the groundwork to translate the momentum gained from this highly productive visit into concrete, joint research projects.
